Padres Start Eight-Game Homestand Thursday, July 12

The Tucson Padres return home after the All-Star Break Thursday, July 12 to begin an eight-game homestand against Fresno (Giants affiliate) and Reno (Diamondbacks affiliate). Below is a game-by-game look at the exciting homestand at Kino Stadium.

THURSDAY, JULY 12 (7:05 pm) BUDWEISER THIRSTY THURSDAY presented by KMSB Fox 11, K-HIT 107.5, La Poderosa, and the Tucson Weekly - the regular 16oz Budweiser, Bud Light, and Coca-Cola products will go on sale for only $1.50 when the gates open at 6:00 pm. $2.50 crafts - Odell and Barrio Breweries. All college students will be admitted for $4.00 with a school ID. The beer special ends at 9:00 pm. Designated drivers will get a wristband for complimentary soft drinks.

FRIDAY, JULY 13 (7:05 pm) KINO KRAWL - The Kino Krawl returns for another night of fun. We have $2 drink special on beer (Bud, Miller & Coors), soft drinks and water; $3 for mixed drinks, wine, and margarita (all normally $6.50) and craft beers (normally $5.50). Drink specials begin when gates open at 6:00. The drink special ends at 9:30. The high energy band Grind will perform following the game.

SATURDAY, JULY 14 (7:05 pm) CHRISTMAS IN JULY presented by KiiM-FM 99.5, KGUN 9, and The CW 58 - The Padres will celebrate Christmas early with all of the festive activities surrounding December 25th. We will have Santa Claus, elves, Christmas music and decorations, gourmet meals and eggnog, candy canes for the kids and a lot of presents. The first 2,500 fans will draw for either a Padres T-Shirt, softee ball, Padres bobbleheads, Padres caps, or more. KiiM 99.5 will feature their charitable Penny Pitch (listen to KiiM for more details). All fans will be able to purchase $5 box seats (half price) if they bring an unwrapped toy. SUNDAY, JULY 15 (7:05) CHASE MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT / BARK IN THE PARK presented by Journal Broadcast Group and Buddy's Deals - All military personnel (active, retired, and veterans) will receive FOUR BOX SEATS with their Military I.D. compliments of Chase, Midas, Jim Click Automotive Team, and the Caballeros del Sol. The military ID will be presented at the Padres Box Office. Dogs will also be admitted free with their owners. Fans may sit on the berms or in their seats with their four-legged friends. The Bark in the Park will apply at all Padres Sunday home games. Donate to the Goodwill of Southern Arizona all season and bring your receipt to the box office for 2-for-1 admission on Sundays throughout the year.

MONDAY, JULY 16 (7:05 pm) ARIZONA DAILY STAR POSTER GIVEAWAY NIGHT AND KiiM 4-PACK NIGHT- The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a free 11" x 14" Collector's Poster featuring Jedd Gyorko. This is the second poster giveaway of the series. As always on our Mondays, a group or family of four will get four box seats, four hot dogs, and four soft drinks FOR ONLY $20 - a $70 value! Any tickets purchased after four will be sold at a $5.00 price. All you have to do is mention KiiM-FM or the Arizona Daily Star at the Padres Box Office.

TUESDAY, JULY 17 (7:05) EEGEE'S FREE TICKET TUESDAYS presented by KNST, Tejano 1600, and La Preciosa - Stop by your favorite eegee's restaurant in the Tucson area and get your FREE tickets to this game.
