Tucson Padres News Release

Please note the following results of Tucson Padres in All-Star Games this week:

Outfielder Daniel Robertson went 1-for-1 in the Triple-A All-Star Game Wednesday at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, New York. Robertson played centerfield, taking over for Pacific Coast League starting centerfielder Adam Eaton (Reno) in the sixth inning. The PCL beat the International League, 3-0 in front of 18,025 fans. Robertson was the second Pacific Coast League mid-season All-Star in team history, joining Aaron Cunningham, who played in last year's game in Salt Lake City.

Former Tucson Padres catcher Ali Solis went 0-for-1 in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game Sunday at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Solis is currently with the Padres Double-A affiliate in San Antonio, but played 11 games for the T-Pads in 2011. The United States team beat the World team in this year's Futures Game, 17-5. Yasmani Grandal was originally selected to play in the Futures Game, but was recalled by the San Diego Padres before the All-Star festivities in Kansas City.
