The Bulls finished off the regular season fairly well, defeating the Conference leading Oshawa Generals 4-3 in a shootout, then downing the Sudbury Wolves 6-3.
Head Coach George Burnett talked about his teams preperation leading up to the series.
"We have tried to look at all areas of our game this week. The last time we saw Barrie was New Years Eve, we're a different club and they are a different club. There is no question we have struggled in special teams against them this year so that will be an area that we need to improve in significantly but we also want to put ourselves in a situation where we're not giving them a lot of opportunities to be on the power play. We have to make sure our discipline is strong yet our compete level is high. Our guys are determined and they are excited to get started."
Forward Maurizio Colella remains sidelined with an upper body injury.
"Mo is still a few days away. He has practiced hard and skated hard recently so we are hopeful that we will see him in the early part of the series." added Burnett.
Netminder Charlie Graham has played in 51 games this season and owns a 3.17 goals against average and a .914 save percentage. Rookie goaltender Connor Hicks made a career high 62 saves in the final game of the regular season. Hicks has a 3.91 goals against average and a .894 save percentage.
