RoughRiders Roy Named to USHL/NHL Top Prospect Game

CEDAR RAPIDS - Cedar Rapids RoughRiders forward Harry Roy has been named to the 2018 USHL NHL Top Prospects game being played at the Viaero Center, January 9th in Kearney, Nebraska, home to the USHL's Tri-City Storm.

The two-day event will begin on Monday, January 8th with on-ice testing conducted by Hockey Tech and off-ice measurements conducted by NHL Central Scouting. In the six-year history of the USHL/NHL Top Prospects game, 76 players who participated have later been selected in the NHL Draft.

Roy is in his 1st season with the RoughRiders. Through 18 games he has scored two goals and added four assists. He is committed to play collegiately at the University of Maine.

"Nice opportunity for Harry," said RoughRiders Head Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson. "He's earned it by listening, executing and working extremely hard. He really wants to be a good hockey player."
