About the Saskatchewan Roughriders
The Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club is committed to their community. In 2005 more than 550 organizations benefited from Roughrider donations which included game tickets and fund-raising items. In excess of $225,000 was distributed to amateur sport organizations while $20,000 was contributed in support of charitable events. In addition, Roughrider players spent over 1,200 hours in the provincial community which included speaking at more than 100 schools and a variety of charitable events.
