
RoughRiders Dash for Cash this Saturday

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will host their 1st Annual Dash for Cash promotion at their game Saturday night, sponsored by Hills Bank.
During the 1st intermission, 1 contestant from six local area schools will have 60 seconds to dash for cash. The amount that will be on the ice will total $2,500. All funds collected by the individuals, who will be "dashing" at the same time, will be donated back to their respective schools.
The schools participating are Westfield Elementary, Bowman Woods Elementary, Prairie Creek Intermediate, Prairie Hill Elementary, Pierce Elementary and Harding Middle School.
The RoughRiders host the in-state rival Des Moines Buccaneers Saturday night. It is also Teacher Appreciation Night. The RoughRiders organization will be providing gifts from local sponsors to teachers all night long in addition to providing a discounted ticket rate for teachers and educators.
