RoughRiders Announce trade for defenseman Denman

CEDAR RAPIDS- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders announced today they have acquired left-handed defenseman Matt Denman from the Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League. He will take the place of defenseman Brad Stonnell.

Denman (6'0", 181 lbs) is a native of Prior Lake, Minnesota. In 26 games this season he has scored 2 goals and added 19 assists for 21 points. Denman also played in 49 games last season for the Magicians.

"We are happy to have Matt join the RoughRiders," said RoughRiders Head Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson. "We have watched Matt over the last year and he's progressed nicely. He will be a positive addition to our D core and in the room."
