Hair Massacure is a fun hair colouring and head shaving event that is in its third year in Calgary. It originated in Edmonton in 2003 and has since raised over $9 million for Alberta charities.

Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. A wish experience is frequently a source of inspiration for children undergoing difficult medical treatments and a positive force that helps them overcome their obstacles.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Southern Alberta provides a home away from home for out-of-town families with sick children receiving medical attention in a Calgary hospital. Though the House has grown and changed since opening in 1985, the purpose remains the same: keeping families together in a compassionate and comfortable home-like atmosphere.
