
Roughnecks Unveil New Road Jerseys & Announce Season Ticket Holder Party

MIDLAND, TX. : The West Texas Roughnecks announced and unveiled the team's new road jerseys for the 2010 season while during a press conference that took place from the Andrews Country Club on Thursday, March 4. The change in the road jersey is the first in team history, and it coincides with the new changes that the Roughnecks organization has had over the course of the off-season.
The new road jerseys consist of the colors' white, blue, black and gold. The numbers on the front, back and shoulder areas of the jersey are filled with the color blue along with black trim that carries from the sides to the back of the jersey. The Roughnecks will first wear the jerseys when they open the 2010 regular season on Saturday, March 6 versus the Abilene Ruff Riders from the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene.

Kickoff for the Roughnecks season-opener against Abilene is at 7:00 p.m. The Roughnecks will have their home-opener on Saturday, March 13 versus the Amarillo Venom and kickoff is scheduled for 7:11 p.m. from the Ector County Coliseum. The first 1,000 fans on March 13 will receive free Roughnecks Magnet Schedules, and the Roughnecks players will be wearing green helmets for "Go Green" Night.
The Roughnecks additionally announced on Thursday that the organization's Seventh Annual Season Ticket Holder Party will be held on Tuesday, March 9. The party will take place from the Roughnecks new front office location at 10716 Highway 191, Suite #6 in Midland beginning at 6:00 p.m. Food will be provided by Olive Garden along with beverages and fans will have the opportunity to meet Roughnecks Players, Front Office Staff Representatives & Team Owners. Fans will additionally have the opportunity to pick up their season tickets for the 2010 season.
