Roughnecks Sign Three 2018 NLL Draft Picks

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks Lacrosse Club has signed three of the eight players selected in the 2018 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft including two first round selections.

Shane Simpson, has signed a one-year contract while Reece Callies and Sean Tyrrell have both agreed to two-year contracts.

HEIGHT: 6'2" WEIGHT: 170 lbs.

2018 NLL DRAFT: First round, sixth overall

2018 TEAM: Six Nations Chiefs (MSL)

Reece callies, Transition

HOMETOWN: Langley, BC DOB: July 27, 1995 SHOOTS: Right

HEIGHT: 6'7" WEIGHT: 240 lbs.

2018 NLL DRAFT: First round, 13th overall

2018 TEAM: Langley Thunder (WLA)

SEAN TYRRELL, Forward

HOMETOWN: Calgary, AB DOB: Dec. 14, 1995 SHOOTS: Right

HEIGHT: 5'7" WEIGHT: 170 lbs.

2018 NLL DRAFT: Fifth round, 56th overall

2018 TEAM: New Westminster Salmonbellies (WLA)
