CALGARY, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks are set to take on the Colorado Mammoth May 3rd, in what will be an exhilarating Western Division Semi-Final at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Game time is 3:00 p.m. with the Pre-Game Party kicking off at 1:00 p.m. in the Avison Young Club and outside of Duttons.
The Roughnecks impressive 12-4 record this season not only finished them atop the league, but gave the Riggers their only first place finish in the league since the team's inauguration into the NLL in 2001.
The Roughnecks will practice this Saturday, May 2nd from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Okotoks Centennial Arena. The team will be on hand to sign autographs following practice and then take in fellow teammate Bruce Codd's home opener as head coach of the Junior A Raiders.
Fans are invited down to Okotoks Centennial Arena to not only take in the Roughnecks practice and autograph session on Saturday, but are encouraged to attend the Roughnecks Pre-Game Party Sunday afternoon, two hours prior to game time.
Joshuas Habit will be performing live during the Pre-Game Party inside the Avison Young Club and will also perform during the Roughnecks Half-Time.
Outside of Duttons, fans will be able to take in the Carnival for Kids at Heart which includes numerous inflatable fun toys for kids and adults alike, including a dunk tank, bouncy house and bungee run.
Members of the Calgary Stampeders will also be in attendance to sign autographs for fans.
The first 10,000 fans in the âDome will receive City TV thunder sticks to assist in making some noise for the boys!
To top it all off, FAN 960 radio will be hosting all the pre-game festivities.
The Calgary Police Service will also have a prominent role in Sunday's matchup against the Colorado Mammoth, as they are actively recruiting for the City of Calgary's Police Service and will be looking at hiring 200 new recruits this year.
Fans are asked to be in their seats five minutes prior to ball drop to ensure they don't miss our special pre-game celebration.
Don't miss out on this Sunday's action as your Calgary Roughnecks fight to defeat the Calgary Mammoth and bring the Champion's Cup back to Calgary.
