CALGARY, AB - Calgary Roughnecks President and General Manager Brad Banister announced today that the club has released defenceman Bryan Johnson and signed Greg Hinman to a one-year deal.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed and are subject to league approval.
Hinman, who spent last season with the Roughnecks, tallied seven points, including two goals and five assists in 11 games. The 26-year-old free agent was picked up after he was released from the Edmonton Rush on Friday.

The native of Coquitlam, BC, also racked up 30 penalty minutes and collected 100 loose balls in that time.
The Calgary Roughnecks will take a short Christmas break and continue their 2008 Training Camp in the New Year with the final weekend session being held January 3-4 at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre in Cochrane, AB.
Calgary Roughnecks season tickets, flex packs and group tickets are on sale now. Call the Calgary Roughnecks office at (403) 294-9244 to find out more information or to purchase your tickets.
