
Roughnecks Re-Sign Mike Carnegie

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today announced that the National Lacrosse League club has re-signed assistant captain Mike Carnegie to a two-year contract.
Carnegie, who is entering his seventh NLL season, has spent his entire NLL playing career with the Roughnecks. The London, Ontario product has appeared in 94 games over the past six seasons, recording 42 points (14 goals, 28 assists) while collecting 394 loose balls over that span. The 29-year-old defenceman was a member of the 2009 NLL championship team and has posted six points (two goals, four assists) and collected 58 loose balls in 11 career playoff games.
The Roughnecks will continue with their second weekend of training camp over December 6-7 at the Langley Events Centre (101, 7888 - 200 Street) in Langley, British Columbia. The weekend will be highlighted by a scrimmage against the Vancouver Stealth on Saturday, December 7, with a 7:00 p.m. face-off. The scrimmage is open to the public.
