
Roughnecks ink deal with Shaw TV

Calgary, AB - Shaw TV will air at least six of the Calgary Roughnecks games through the 2007 season.
One game - the Calgary win over Colorado last Saturday - has already been televised, and the rest of the schedule has now been finalized.
"We are very pleased that we are able to offer our fans the ability to view more of our games this season," said Kurt Silcott, the Roughnecks Genereal Manager. "We have a nice game six game package, and we hope to build on this relationship so that in the future our fans will be able to watch even more Roughnecks action."
Veteran broadcaster Mark Stephen has been signed to do play-by-play; former Roughneck John Kilbride supplies colour commentary, while Barry Strader conducts on-floor interviews.
The next Shaw broadcast is this coming Saturday (January 27) when the Riggers (2-1) entertain the East Division's Minnesota Swarm (1-2).
The schedule is:
Vs. MINNESOTA (January 27). Game starts 7.30 p.m.
Live in Calgary, with repeats at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday (January 28)
Vs. PHILADELPHIA (February 10). Game starts 7.30 p.m.
Live in Calgary, with repeats at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday (February 11)
At COLORADO (February 18). Game starts 6 p.m.
Live in Calgary, with a single repeat at 9 a.m. on Monday (February 12)
Vs. TORONTO (February 23). Game starts 7.30 p.m.
Tape delay in Calgary until 10.30 p.m. that same night, with repeats at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday (February 24)
At ARIZONA (April 13). Game starts at 8.30 p.m.
Live in Calgary (unless there is a conflict with WHL playoffs), with repeats at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday (April 14)
