FC Tulsa News Release
The Tulsa Roughnecks FC makes its third of four trips to California this season when it travels to Los Angeles to face the LA Galaxy II on Saturday, June 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. CDT.
It's the first of two meetings this season between the Roughnecks and Los Dos. Tulsa enters the meeting still in search of its first win of the season after playing to another draw with Oklahoma City last weekend.
The R oughnecks have lost only one time since March 31. The streak has spanned eight games and includes seven draws against the one loss. The 7 ties this year have already established a franchise high after only 11 games played.
Los Dos comes into the game with two wins, one draw and only one loss in its past four games. The four matches have featured a total of 30 goals with the Galaxy II accounting for 17 of them.
It will be the seventh meeting all-time between the two teams with TRFC holding a 1-3-2 record. The Roughnecks lone result in LA came last year with a 2-2 draw.
TRFC forward Fernando Arce has returned to Argentina, ending the club's loan agreement with the 23-year-old. In addition, the Roughnecks will be without the services of defender Adrian Jusino on Saturday. Jusino is suspended for the game after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend.
Fans can watch a live stream of Saturday's game with a subscription to the new ESPN+.
Tulsa's next home match is scheduled for the following weekend, on Saturday, June 2. The Roughnecks will host Saint Louis FC at ONEOK Field with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive special Fabian Cerda jerseys compliments of Mazzio's, Tulsa's Channel 8 and El Patron 101.5.
