
Roughnecks Host Second Annual Fan Fest Saturday

Calgary, AB - Calgary Roughnecks fans will have the chance to meet the 2013 squad and members of the Drill Crew by attending the second annual Roughnecks Fan Fest at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday, January 5. The event is free and open to the public from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. with complimentary parking, based on availability, in Lot A and the parkade (14 Avenue and 5 Street SE). Fans are encouraged to come early to watch the team practice from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and enter via the NE wheelchair and Avison Young Club entrances.
During the event, fans can practice their lacrosse skills, enter to win great prizes and participate in a variety of family-friendly activities. In addition to autograph and photo opportunities with the 2013 Roughnecks roster, fans can meet Calgary Flames associate coach Jacques Cloutier and assistant coach Martin Gelinas from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. and Calgary Stampeders John Cornish, Rob Cote and Keon Raymond from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.

Calgary begins the 2013 regular season on Saturday, January 12 when the Roughnecks host the Toronto Rock in the Adrenalin Source For Sports Home Opener. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
