CALGARY, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks meet their other Canadian opponents, the Toronto Rock this Saturday (January 17th) at 5:00 p.m. MT at the Air Canada Centre. The Roughnecks head to Toronto with two wins under their belt and have every intention of keeping their winning streak alive.

The Calgary Roughnecks opened the season with back-to-back wins last weekend. The first being a 12-10 win over the San Jose Stealth Friday, before returning home on Saturday to defeat the Rush in overtime 10-9. Veteran Curt Malawsky tallied seven points (5g, 2a) for Calgary, which included the overtime game-winning goal against Edmonton.

Josh Sanderson who was acquired in a blockbuster trade with Toronto in March of 2008 has notched 11 points (3g, 8a) in two games with the Roughnecks this season. Kaleb Toth (3g, 5a) and Dane Dobbie (3g, 5a) each have eight points, while captain Tracey Kelusky has seven points (2g, 5a).

The Toronto Rock (1-1) look to rebound from last Saturdays' 8-6 loss against last year's defending NLL champions the Buffalo Bandits.

Crosbie (2g, 9a) leads the Rock in points while Manning (6g, 4a) and Lewis Ratcliff (3g, 7a) each trail with 10 points.

Since the Roughnecks joined the NLL in 2001, the Rock have dominated the Roughnecks 10-5 in All-Time meetings. The teams split the 2008 season with home wins. Toronto took the March 1st game 9-7 at the Air Canada Centre while Calgary won 12-11 in overtime at the Pengrowth Saddledome on April 19th.
