Roughnecks Finalize Roster

Calgary Roughnecks News Release
The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the clubÂ’s 23-man roster for the 2002-2003 National Lacrosse League season.
Of the players named to the Roughnecks roster 11 will be making their first appearance in a Roughnecks uniform, five of which are NLL rookies. Notable new faces on the roster include 2001 NLL Rookie of the Year Tracey Kelusky, free agent defenseman Tyson Leies and goaltender Curtis Palidwor who was acquired last week from the Columbus Landsharks.
2001 NLL All-Star Kaleb Toth leads a group of 12 players returning to the Roughnecks for their second season. The roster includes three native Calgarians in Toth, John Kilbride and Jason Wulder. The Roughnecks open the 2002-2003 National Lacrosse League season live on Rogers SportsNet December 28th at 1:30pm when the Roughnecks battle the Ottawa Storm.
The club returns to the Pengrowth Saddledome Sunday, January 12 to when the New Jersey Storm visit Calgary to open the home the portion of the clubÂ’s 2002-2003 schedule.
