Roughnecks Face Game Time Change Due To TSN2 Broadcast

CALGARY, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks are pleased to announce today that two of their games during the 2010 regular season will be broadcast on TSN2 due to a deal between the Toronto Rock and the sports broadcaster.

"We are excited to have National Lacrosse League games broadcast across Canada on TSN2," said George Daniel, Commissioner of the National Lacrosse League.

The Valentine's Day matchup between Calgary and Toronto will move from its original 3 p.m. time slot to 4:30 p.m. (MT) at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

"We're excited that lacrosse fans will now have greater access to more live action of Canada's national sport than ever before on TSN2" said Phil King, President, TSN.

"TSN2 is committed to giving fans more choice when it comes to live sporting events. The addition of Toronto Rock lacrosse to TSN2 delivers the National Lacrosse League to its passionate fans across the country, elevating the league's profile and enhancing TSN2's line-up of live major league action."

TSN2 will also broadcast the April 2nd away game at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. Broadcast times are below:

Toronto Rock at Calgary Roughnecks - Sunday, February 14th at 4:30 p.m. MT

Calgary Roughnecks at Toronto Rock - Friday, April 2nd at 8:30 p.m. MT (Tape Delay)*

*Please note, that ball drop for the April 2nd game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. MT, but due to the tape delay on TSN2, the broadcast will take place at 8:30 p.m. MT.
