Calgary, AB - The National Lacrosse League announced today that the Calgary Roughnecks have clinched a playoff berth. The Roughnecks improved their record to 8-3 this past weekend with a 17-6 win over the Buffalo Bandits. Calgary joins the West Division-leading Colorado Mammoth (9-3) as the second team to secure a spot in the post-season.
The Roughnecks return to action when they face the Minnesota Swarm Friday, March 30 at Xcel Energy Center. Calgary then hosts the Washington Stealth on Saturday, March 31. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Join the Roughnecks for Boys Night Out and your chance to win a $1,000 CrossIron Mills Shopping Spree and four authentic Roughnecks jerseys.
