CALGARY, AB- The Calgary Roughnecks (9-6) travel to Denver to face-off against the Colorado Mammoth (4-11) Friday night. With a victory, the Riggers can clinch second spot in the National Lacrosse League's Western Division and a home playoff game against the Edmonton Rush (10-6) the weekend of April 30th.

"We would love to host a game at home and play in front of our great fans," said forward Jeff Shattler.

In their history, the Riggers have compiled a 9-10 record (6-5 at home, 3-5 on the road) against the Mammoth in the regular season and a 3-1 record (1-0 at home, 2-1 on the road) in the playoffs. The Roughnecks claimed a 12-11 victory over the Mammoth at the Pengrowth Saddledome on April 10.

Last season, the Roughnecks split their season series with the Mammoth losing 13-12 in Denver on Valentine's Day before rebounding with a 13-10 victory at home on March 21.The Riggers also beat the Mammoth 15-8 at home during the first round of the 2009 playoffs.

"It's not the most talented team, it's the hardest working team that will win the game," added Shattler. "We are going to work hard and bring some intensity to the game."

Sanderson currently leads all NLL scorers this season with 31 goals and 66 assists for 97 points in 15 games played. That translates into an NLL-best average of 6.47 points per game. With a strong performance in his final game of the season, Sanderson can wrap up his second NLL scoring title. He also pulled off the feat back in 2006 when he led the league in scoring with 29 goals and 69 helpers for 98 points while playing with the Toronto Rock.

Friday's game will be broadcast live on www.nll.com. A complete game recap will be posted on www.calgaryroughnecks.com after the game.
