Rough Riders to Co-Host Super Bowl Party

Peoria Rough Riders in conjunction with Miller, 95.5 WGLO, 99x and American Pi will co-host a Super Bowl XL party, Super Sunday, February 5th at American Pi 5720 N. Knoxville Ave., Peoria, IL.
From 3:30- 5:30 99x will be doing a live remote from American Pi. Fans will have the opportunity to take on 99x DJ Matt Bahan in one quarter of EA Sports' Madden '06 for great prizes. Also present will be the Peoria Miler Lite Girls and two lucky fans will win Miller Lite double lounge chairs with coolers of Miller product.
Head Coach Chuck Goodwin and several of the 2006 Peoria Rough Riders will be present as well. There will be door prizes, 50/50 raffles, a silent auction and a clipboard auction with all proceeds being donated to cystic fibrosis.
Festivities will begin at 2:00 P.M. There will be a $5 cover charge and fans entering must be 21 years old. The cover charge includes two outstanding American Pi food bars.
Rough Riders General Manager Eric Hutchins commented, "This is a great event to be apart of. We'll be introducing our new players to football fans in central Illinois and at the same time helping raise money for a great cause like Cystic Fibrosis." He continued, "I would also like to thank America Pi for allowing us to be a part of this great event."

- The Peoria Rough Riders will hold their second open player tryout on Friday, January 27 at the Morton Soccer Forum. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the tryout beginning at 11:00a.m. Everyone trying out is invited to lunch afterwards at Sully's Downtown Pub in Peoria. Cost is $30 if registering before the 27th and $40 cash only the day of the tryout. - Tuesday January 31, 2006, Peoria Rough Riders Players, Coaches and staff will be making an appearance at the Children's Hospital of Illinois from 2:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
