Ross Vecchio to Be Featured on XM Radio Broadcast

Washington, PA -- The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, announced that general manager Ross Vecchio will be a guest on "Majors and Minors" hosted by Grant Paulsen this Saturday morning on XM Radio 175.

Vecchio will discuss the Wild Things and the Frontier League on the show.

Grant Paulsen is an 18-year-old sports-journalist and broadcaster who is already an accredited member of the national media. Paulsen has done and seen a lot in the broadcasting business. He is the nephew of local radio celebrity Scott Paulsen. Paulsen resides in Alexandria, Virginia and is a freshman at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

He hosts two nationally broadcasted sports shows on XM Satellite Radio, and writes regular sports columns for the Free Lance Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Vecchio is scheduled to appear on air with Paulsen at 11:25 a.m. this Saturday (1/27/07) on XM 175.

The Wild Things, who play in the Independent Frontier League of professional baseball, open the 2007 season on May 23rd at home when they welcome the league's newest team, the Slippery Rock Sliders to Washington.
