Roots Sign Argentine Midfielder Matias Fissore

Oakland Roots SC have added Matias Fissore to the squad as the team prepares for the 2021 USL Championship Season.
"Matias is an exciting midfielder with a lot of quality and energy on both sides of the ball, especially in transitions," said Roots Technical Director Jordan Ferrell. "He comes with a load of experience in the South American game, which will be a welcome addition in our already diverse midfield unit.
Fissore most recently featured for San Martin Tucuman in Argentina. Prior to that Fissore featured for 5 seasons for San Martin SJ after 5 seasons with Athletico de Rafael, amassing more than 150 appearances in Argentine professional soccer.
