Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos Announce Initial Roster Selections for the Beautiful Game

ORLANDO, Fla. - Today, Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos made an exciting announcement, revealing the initial roster selections for The Beautiful Game, which is scheduled to take place at Exploria Stadium on Friday, June 23, at 7 p.m. ET. The Beautiful Game will bring together two global soccer legends, Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos, who will each captain a team.

Anticipated to participate in this remarkable event are a multitude of players, including current and former stars from various sports. Among the players expected to take part are Ronaldo, Vini Jr, Ronaldinho, Roberto, Dybala, Willian, Leandrinho Barbosa, Lucas Moura, Diego Ribas, Cafu, Rivaldo, Rafa Marquez, Emerson, Aldair, Nani, Eder Militao, Veron, Mascherano, Valderrama, Higuita, Diego Lugano, and Dida.

Additionally, several soccer icons are set to join Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos for this momentous match. Nani, the celebrated Portugal national team legend and former Orlando City captain will be present. Nani will return to play in front of the fans in Orlando for the first time since leaving the club at the end of 2021. Nani started 64 matches in 77 appearances across all competitions for Orlando City. Signing ahead of the 2019 season, the Portuguese winger scored 28 goals and provided 23 assists in his three seasons with the Lions.

Internet Superstars will join the professionals as Oussy Foot, Pascal Gurk, and the legendary Khaby Lame, among others, will be playing the match.
