
Romel Beck, David Monds Make NBA Training Camp Rosters

BISMARCK, N.D., September 30, 2009 - Former Dakota Wizards players David Monds and Romel Beck have both been signed to NBA training camp rosters, which opened earlier in the week.
Monds will join the Los Angeles Lakers after playing on their Summer League team. Beck has signed with the Houston Rockets.
Monds, who joined the Wizards on March 27th, played in the final seven regular season games for the Wizards along with both playoff games after beginning the season with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds. Monds averaged 8.7 points and 6.9 rebounds for the Wizards.
Beck signed with the Wizards on February 23rd and averaged 15.9 points shooting 51% from the field in 16 games. Beck played with the San Antonio Spurs in Vegas Summer League action before joining Mexico's entry in the FIBA Americas Championship.
The Wizards will begin their 15th season in Bismarck at home on November 28th against the Maine Red Claws. Limited $99 season tickets for the 2009-10 season are still available by calling the Wizards office at 701-258-BALL.
