10 Former Flash Players in NBA Training Camps

PROVO, UT, Oct. 1, 2009 - Ten players with experience playing for the Utah Flash over the last two seasons are on 2009-10 NBA training camp rosters.

"We are excited for our organization because by having 10 guys in NBA camps it proves that the NBA D-League and the Utah Flash are accomplishing their goals," said Utah Flash Head Coach Brad Jones.

The Utah Flash top the list of NBA D-League teams with players in NBA training camps. The Flash have a total of 10 players looking to earn a spot on NBA rosters.

One hundred fourteen players who have played in the NBA Development League over the last eight seasons are on 2009-10 NBA training camp rosters, including 58 who were on an NBA D-League roster during the 2008-09 season.

Â "Having more than 100 players with NBA D-League experience showcasing their skills in NBA training camps is a testament to the success of the league," said Chris Alpert, Vice President of Basketball Operations and Player Personnel for the NBA D-League.Â "All of these former NBA D-League players are proving themselves to be top NBA prospects as they compete for NBA roster spots."
