Rogol to Coach National Bowl

October 17, 2011 - Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL)
Danville Dragons News Release

DANVILLE, IL - Dragons head coach Jarrod Rogol has been selected as the head coach for Red National Team at December's National Bowl. The game will take place Sunday, December 4, at The J. Birney Crum Stadium at 2027 W. Linden St. Allentown, PA 18104 at 1PM EST.

"The bottom line is scouts and coaches would rather see players on the field over timing 40's. This game is the last chance these seniors will have to show scouts and coaches from around the country what they can do. Also, with only three practices prior to the game, it really gives you a sense of which players have that 'football knowledge,'" stated Rogol.

The National Bowl is hosted by East Preps LLC (EastPreps.com) which also hosts the successful D2-D3 Proday & National Scouting Combine. The National Bowl is a weekend of fun filled events, practices and fellowship. College coaches and Pro coaches collaborate in coaching both teams while many Pro scouts view from the sideline. This is also an invite only game and players wishing to be invited should send information to Mike Quartey Esq. (micqhitz@yahoo.com). The deadline for registration is November 13 and final rosters will be announced on November 22.

More information on the National Bowl can be found at http://www.nationalbowlgame.com. If you'd like to view the weekend's agenda and also see video from April's game you can visit http://nationalbowl.wordpress.com.

The 2012 season for the Dragons opens March 1st, on the road against the Erie Explosion. On March 10, fans will have their first chance to see the Dragons at the David S. Palmer Arena in Danville as the Cincinnati Commandos visit. Ticket sales will start shortly and team merchandise is now ready for order at http://www.danvilledragons.com.
