Feb. 24 vs. Colorado Eagles, 7-1 Win - The Rage rebounded emphatically in the finale of the home-and-home the next afternoon, though, re-claiming sole possession of first place behind two goals from Brent Cullaton, four points off the stick of Trevor Weisgerber (1g-3a), and 40 saves from Reid.

STILL NOT A DAY OUT OF FIRST

By winning the home-and-home finale on Sunday against the Eagles, the Rage again became the lone team in first place in the Northwest, a position they have held in 49 of their 52 games played including tomorrow night's tilt with the Blazers. The other three games this season they were tied for first. Rocky Mountain is now 6-3-1 in the season series with Colorado. Another home-and-home set looms between the Front Range rivals on March 11 (Broomfield) and 12 (Loveland) to conclude their 12 slated showdowns this year.

CAREER HIGH FOR CULLY

With two goals and an assist on Sunday, Brent Cullaton established a new career high with now 77 points this season, placing him fourth in the league in overall scoring. His previous personal best was the 75-point (25g-50a) campaign he put together over just 39 games during his first season in the CHL in 2003-04 with the Laredo Bucks. The Rage captain has also achieved a new career high for assists with a league-leading 63 on the year.

RYCROFT BACK AT EVEN STRENGTH

Daymen Rycroft scored his first even strength goal on Sunday in nearly a month, a span of 13 games dating back to Jan. 27. It's not as if the CHL's leading goal scorer hasn't been productive, though, as he did have six power play markers and two short-handed efforts over that same time span. Rycroft is fifth in the league with 74 points (43g-31a), and his next point will be the 200th of his four-year career.
