Rockstars to host basketball clinic for kids

Chicago, IL. On Saturday, August 19th, from 12-6pm, the ABA Chicago Rockstars will be involved in the Victory Cathedral Faith Church Pre-Anniversary and Back-to-School Festival. The event will be held at 10441 S. Racine, Chicago IL 60643.

"We're excited to be a part of an event that promotes education and that advocates that every child attends the first day of school," said Director of Community Relations Nicole Keith.

Coaches Kenny Williams, Michael Harris and several Rockstars players will host a basketball clinic for children around 2pm. The Lady Rockstars Dance Team will also be in attendance and will perform for the crowd around 330pm. The Rockstars will provide the children with back-to-school items. "We enjoy attending community events like this, especially events that are geared towards children", said owner Marques Sullivan.
