(POMONA, N.Y.) - The Rockland Boulders begin the defense of their Can Am League Championship on Thursday, May 21, and are offering a special deal for everyone to join the celebration. For any of the five Boulders contests from May 21-25, fans can purchase an Opening Weekend Championship Pack, which includes four game vouchers (redeemable at any of the five games), four 2015 playoff vouchers (if applicable), and a commemorative Boulders Championship pint glass for the low price of just $49.
"We have incredible fans," beamed Boulders President Ken Lehner. "We want them to have the opportunity to celebrate the start of our bold title defense at Provident Bank Park just like they celebrated our first league championship at the end of the 2014 season. This is really a sweet package when you factor in the potential playoff vouchers and limited addition championship pint glass."
Opening Night is just around the corner, as the Can Am Champion Boulders start the 2015 season against Trois-Rivieres on Thursday, May 21, with pregame ceremonies featuring the raising of the Championship Banner and the presentation of Championship Rings to the coaches, players and staff. In addition, the first 1,000 fans will receive a championship magnetic schedule courtesy of Sterling Bank, while all fans will enjoy the first of 10 Thirsty Thursdays featuring $1 Bud and Bud Lights and $3 mystery craft beers. Finally, post-game the celebration will conclude with a Fireworks Extravaganza and a live musical performance outside the Boulders craft beer room.
The fun doesn't stop there as Friday, May 22, includes a post-game Fireworks Extravaganza and free championship magnets to the first 1,000 fans, courtesy of Sterling Bank. Saturday, May 23 features post-game fireworks, a "Bould in Blue" t-shirt giveaway, and the legendary Philadelphia Phanatic will make his first appearance at Provident Bank Park.
Sunday's 2:00 pm matinee offers the opportunity to bring your canine pals out for "Pups in the Park" Day, highlighted by free dog bandanas and the return of the ever-popular "Kids Run the Bases" after the game. Finally, a Memorial Day two-fer is in store with a scheduled 1:00 pm double-header. Kids 12-and-under Eat Free, and after game two, enjoy a bonus edition of our Kids Run the Bases event.
