Rockets and Wendy's Dreamlift Day Wednesday

The Kelowna Rockets will be taking part in Wendy's Dreamlift Day on Wednesday as local Wendy's restaurants hold their annual fundraiser in support of the Sunshine Foundation.

Rockets players and staff will be helping out at local Wendy's restaurants throughout the day, performing various jobs as part of the popular fundraising day.

Money raised at Wendy's restaurants will go to the Sunshine Foundation which each year sends kids with severe physical disabilities and life threatening illnesses to Disneyland for its annual Dreamlift Day.

On Wednesday all Wendy's staff and management give up their salaries and donations go to the Sunshine Foundation.

Later on Wednesday when the Rockets host the Kamloops Blazers the actual "Wendy Thomas" will be in attendance at the Rockets game and will be presented with a Kelowna Rockets team jersey.
