Rockers Start Five-Game Road Trip Versus Woodchucks

Ashwaubenon, Wis. - The Green Bay Rockers take on the Wausau Woodchucks on the road Wednesday with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. from Athletic Park.

The Rockers comes into this game 4-3 in second half play while the Woodchucks enter at 5-2 through the first seven games of the second half of the 2022 season.

Green Bay finished a five-game home stand Tuesday night against Wausau, with the Woodchucks winning 6-0 at Capital Credit Union Park.

After a four-run third inning by the Woodchucks, two more runs in the eighth capped off the 6-0 win in Ashwaubenon as the Rockers now look for the series split at Athletic Park.

Dylan Carter started the game for Green Bay and pitched seven innings while Chase Pelter pitched the last two innings of relief out of the bullpen.

For Wednesday's game, Chris Sleeper will get the start for Green Bay as he comes in with a 1-1 record and a 5.85 ERA.

Sleeper has pitched in five games so far in 2022 and with 20 innings pitched, Sleeper has 12 walks and 18 strikeouts with his latest appearances coming on July 7 against the Madison Mallards.

The Woodchucks will start Aidan Major, who comes into this game with a 3-1 record and a 4.44 ERA in six games pitched this season.

Green Bay will continue their five-game road trip with a trip to Madison Thursday to take on the Mallards. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. from Warner Park.
