Rock Crushers Announce Try Out Camp And Meet And Greet

Jay Peak, VT May 27, 2011 - The Green Mountain Rock Crushers of the Federal Hockey League are pleased to announce their inaugural Free Agent Tryout Camp and Meet and Greet for the weekend of June 10th at the Ice Haus Arena and Jay Peak resort.

The event will showcase players who seek to make the opening night roster for the first professional hockey team in Vermont's history. Players from Western Canada to Finland will make their way to northern Vermont in the hopes of beginning or continuing their pro careers with the Rock Crushers. In addition, the team will host a Meet and Greet with the players and staff for local fans and the local business community.

"We believe that this camp is an excellent opportunity to show off the talent of the players as well as show off the rink, the resort and our commitment to the community," said Governor/General Manager Andy Makal. "The Ice Haus is a great facility, Jay Peak Resort is a beautiful place to visit in any season, and we want to add to that positive energy on the mountain."

The three day event is another spectacular event that makes the Ice Haus Arena a premier hockey destination in Northern Vermont that includes the Rock Crushers, the North American Hockey Academy, the Green Mountain Avalanche Tournament Series and the North Country High School hockey teams.
