
Rock Crushers Announce IROC Partnership

Jay Peak, VT April 18, 2011 - The Green Mountain Rock Crushers of the Federal Hockey League are pleased to announce an agreement with Indoor Recreation of Orleans County (IROC) to be the official training center of the team for the 2011-12 season. The Rock Crushers will also participate as a logo sponsor for several IROC community initiatives, including the IROC Summer Games and various adult leagues.
Rock Crushers Governor and General Manager Andy Makal said, "This partnership embodies the core values of programs like Crushers for Causes, and allows us to give back to the community in a meaningful and positive way. The work Phil and his staff are doing at IROC is exciting and important work. We are proud and honored to be a part of a program like this."
Phil White, Chairman of IROC, added, "This is a wonderful partnership. We're thrilled to have these young professional athletes using IROC as their training center. We love Andy's commitment to community and his enthusiastic support of what we do here at IROC. We are already hard at it planning all sorts of great ways that the team and it's players can work with our area's youth."
