Rock Crushers Release Schedule and Season Ticket Prices

Morrisville, VT August 10, 2011 - The Green Mountain Rock Crushers of the Federal Hockey League are pleased to release the schedule for the 2011-12 season. The Rock Crushers, the first professional hockey team in Vermont's history, play a 25 game home schedule at the Green Mountain Arena in Morrisville and two games at the Androscoggin Colisee in Lewiston, Maine.

The Federal Hockey League enters its second season with eight teams facing off for the Commissioner's Cup. The Rock Crushers are joined by the Cape Cod Bluefins, Danville Dashers, Thousand Islands Privateers, Brooklyn Aviators, Danbury Whalers, New Jersey Outlaws and the defending champion Akwesasne Warriors.

"We are expecting the 2011-12 season of Green Mountain Rock Crushers hockey to be an exciting one, with all the elements in place to be a truly outstanding team. The unbeatable atmosphere that we plan to present and the anticipated fan support we look forward to will make the Green Mountain Arena one of the most exciting buildings in the FHL, and we look forward to seeing ‚¬Ëœa grand in the stands' this season," said General Manager/Director of Hockey Operations Andy Makal.

Season Tickets for the Rock Crushers are $299 per seat and flex packages are available. Season ticket packages also include right of first refusal for playoff games. Family packages will be announced in the near future. In addition, the Rock Crushers will be holding a number of promotions throughout the season, including a Pink in the Rink Night for Breast Cancer Awareness and Military Appreciation Night. The Rock Crushers kick off their inaugural season on Oct. 28 with a home-and-home series against the defending FHL champion Akwesasne Warriors.

The FHL will play 53-game schedule, including five games at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine, the former home of the Lewiston MAINEiacs of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. For more information, check out www.themaineevent.us, a website devoted to FHL games played at the Colisee.
