Robins, Crnkovic Shine as Blades Top Tigers 6-5 in Thriller

Saskatoon, SK - The Blades have hit a three game winning streak off the back of Tristen Robins' first career hat-trick and a career high five point night (1G-4A) from Kyle Crnkovic on Friday evening, as Saskatoon skated off 6-5 victors against the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The NHL Draft prospect sophomore forwards teamed up with Slovakian line-mate Martin Fasko-Rudas (3A) for three of the Blades' goals, while Crnkovic also had a goal of his own and added another helper. The 19-year-old Fasko-Rudas now has two goals and four assists in four games since coming across to Saskatoon on WHL trade deadline day two weeks ago.

Veterans Chase Wouters & Riley McKay also each tallied a goal, while Scott Walford & Colton Dach each picked up a helper. Wouters' goal was his 20th of the season.

Rookie netminder Koen MacInnes made 28 saves for his fifth win in six games.

16-year old Carrot River, SK, product Jayden Wiens stepped up to the plate for his first WHL career tilt, getting the better of the 19-year-old Ryan Chyzowski.

The game also a milestone night for forward Evan Patrician, who suited up for his 100th WHL career game.

The Blades are back in action immediately for Superhero Night against the top placed team in the Eastern Conference, the Edmonton Oil Kings.
