Robert Morris Grad to Join Pioneers

Wilkes-Barre, PA- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce that Ricky Daldo, a 6'0 185lbs. receiver, has been assigned to the 2005 roster.

"Ricky has good technical skills for the receiver position," says Offensive Coordinator Terry Karg. "He is a disciplined route runner and has excellent body control. He is capable of making big plays."

Daldo comes to the Pioneers from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a letter winner in 2001, 2002 and 2003. He finished his collegiate career with 50 catches for 832 yards and 7 touchdowns. Daldo set a school record for yards per reception in 2003 with a 20.8 average and is 8th in school history for receptions.

Daldo played high school football for Red Land High School in New Cumberland, PA. In his junior and senior years he combined for 73 catches for 1309 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was selected Mid Penn Conference 1st team in 1998 and was a Mid Penn Conference Honorable Mention in 1999.
