
Robbie Keane Departs for International Duty

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, March 23, 2015) - LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane has departed for international team duty with the Republic of Ireland, where his team will face Poland on March 29 in a UEFA European Championship Qualifying Round match at Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Keane will miss the Galaxy's game against D.C. United this Saturday, March 28 (4 p.m. PT, Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Time Warner Cable Deportes). He will be available for selection the following week when the Galaxy take on Vancouver on April 4.
Keane, 34, is Ireland's captain and all-time leading goal scorer with 65 goals in his 138 appearances. In MLS play, Keane leads the Galaxy with two goals in three appearances on the year.
