The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fifth until Carlton Salters gave the Roadrunners (32-30) the 1-0 lead with his fourth home run of the season.
The Roadrunners added to their lead in the bottom of the sixth with some help from the Colts' defense. A throwing error allowed Travis Clark to come in and score from second extending Edinburg's lead 2-0.
Edinburg added another run in the bottom of the eighth. With two outs, Trevor Whyte hit a double and then Dan Coury followed with an RBI single to center allowing Whyte to score making it 3-0.
