
Road Warriors beat Surf 11-3 in final game of series

ATLANTIC CITY_ The Road Warriors beat the Surf 11-3 in the final game of their series on Sunday night at Bernie Robbins Stadium.
The Surf's Andy High was ejected in the top of the 4th inning for arguing a call with the home plate umpire. The Road Warriors' Nick Ortiz had a huge night offensively going 4-5 with a homerun and three RBIs. Jason Torres went 1-3 with two RBIs and Demetrius Heath went 2-5 with 1 RBI for the Surf. Heath also picked up his 58th stolen base of the season, which is a Surf single season record.
The Surf's home stand continues Tuesday night against the Bridgeport Bluefish at 6:35. The Surf's Mark Persails (7-4) will take the mound for the Surf.
