
Riversharks face Future Hall of Fame Player Rickey Henderson

CAMDEN, N.J. â Future Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson will make his first career appearance at Campbell's Field this week. Henderson and his Newark Bears teammates take on the Camden Riversharks in a three-game series on Tuesday, May 25, Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27. All three games in the series start at 6:35 p.m.
Henderson is Major League Baseball's all-time leader in stolen bases, walks, runs scored and leadoff home runs. Considered by most as the greatest leadoff hitter in Major League Baseball history, Henderson earned the American League's Most Valuable Player honor in 1990 as a member of the Oakland A's. A 10-time Major League All-Star, Henderson also played in three World Series, winning the title in 1989 with the Oakland A's and 1993 with the Toronto Blue Jays.
