Rivermen to Host Archrival Toledo in Pre-season Game on October 15

Peoria, Ill. (September 13, 2004) â President Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that the team will host the archrival Toledo Storm on Friday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. in a pre-season game at Carver Arena.
The Rivermen, who face off against the Storm 11 times during 2004-2005, registered a 5-0-1 home record and a 10-0-2 overall mark against them last season. Peoria owns a 54-22-5 lifetime ECHL record against Toledo.
The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL â America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Rivermen open their ninth season in the 28-team league on Friday, October 22, 2004, when they host the archrival Dayton Bombers at Carver Arena.
