Rivermen to Appear at Steger's Furniture on Monday, November 22

Peoria, Ill. (November 17, 2004) – The Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that the Captain Trevor Baker and rookies Troy Riddle and Chris Beckford-Tseu will appear at Steger's Furniture in Pekin, Ill. on Monday, November 22 from 6-7:00 p.m.

The players will be on hand to sign autographs and interact with fans. Those fans who attend the appearance will also be treated to refreshments and receive special offers for purchases on Steger's items.

The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL – The Premier "AA" Hockey League. Peoria continues its ninth season in the 28-team league Saturday, November 20, when they host the archrival Toledo Storm for the first time this season. Game time is now at 7:30 p.m. It is Boy Scout Night. The Rivermen will wear special Boy Scout-themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game to benefit the W.D. Boyce Boy Scout Council. The Cutting Edge Salon of Morton "Haircuts for Charity" returns as well. Haircuts will be available on the inner concourse in Section 9 for free with donations going to the Children's Hospital of Illinois.
