Peoria Rivermen News Release

Peoria Rivermen President and CEO Bart Rogers announced today that the Peoria Rivermen have signed a two-year agreement with ESPN Radio 96.5 FM to broadcast all 80 regular season games plus playoffs.

"It's exciting for us to be back on FM with a strong signal, and with a great sports brand in ESPN Radio," said Rogers. "This is a perfect fit."

ESPN Radio 96.5 FM will carry all Rivermen games for the next two seasons, including a new half-hour pre-game and post-game show for all home games live from Carver Arena. The show will feature new Rivermen radio voice Tom Callahan plus Doc Watson and Gabe Reynolds, who host their local show from 5-7 pm Monday - Friday on the station.

Weekdays, Watson and Reynolds will also host their show live during the 90 minutes prior to Rivermen games in the new clubroom suite at the Peoria Civic Center.

Rogers was also quick to thank JMP Radio, where the Rivermen called home last season.

"They stepped up and gave us a home last season, and we sincerely appreciate that," he said. "With ESPN moving into the market, image and accessibility of our games was paramount for our fans. This was a move we had to make."

All Rivermen games will once again be available via the team's web site at www.rivermen.net on B2 Networks audio and video feeds.

Rivermen season tickets are now on sale by calling the team office at (309) 676-1040, with seats starting at just $400 for all 40 games! Don't forget to check out the team's new 1,500 square-foot merchandise shop located in the renovated Peoria Civic Center next to the team offices at 201 SW Jefferson Street in downtown Peoria.
