SOUTHAVEN-- Memphis RiverKings Head Coach Mark Richards announced today that the team has acquired forward Wayne Hall from the Odessa Jackalopes for future considerations.

"Wayne will help us anchor our third line," Richards said. "He is a proven player who had decent year last year. This is a way for us to upgrade."

Hall, 26, is a native of Nepean, Ontario, Canada and a second year pro. He played his college hockey at the University of Ottawa. Last year with the Jackalopes, he scored nine goals and had 17 points in 63 games. In four games this season with Odessa, Hall had one goal and no assists.

He is expected to be in a RiverKings uniform when they hit the ice for the first of a two game homestand this Thursday and Friday against Austin and Bossier-Shreveport. The drop of the puck for both games is 7:05 at the DeSoto Civic Center.
