RiverKings Sign Defenseman Grace

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that the team has signed defenseman Mike Grace for the rest of the 2013-14 season. Terms and conditions were not released.

Grace, 24, signs with the RiverKings organization after beginning the season on a three-game tryout contract. In those three games, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound defenseman tallied 1 assist. The Rochester, NY native enters his first professional season. Grace spent the last four years playing for SUNY-Plattsburgh in the SUNYAC, registering 52 points (10G, 42A) in 105 games.

The RiverKings return to the ice on Wednesday night in Louisiana against the IceGators at 7:05 p.m. Be sure to catch all the action at Old Style BBQ, the Official Away Game Watch Party Headquarters of the RiverKings or by tuning in on Sports 56 and 87.7FM.

The RiverKings return home on Saturday, November 9 for their second weekend series against the Rivermen.
