Mississippi RiverKings News Release

LUBBOCKThe Memphis RiverKings announced today that they have placed fifth-year pro Brad Mueller on the 14-day Injured-Reserve retroactive to January 6. Mueller, who has five goals and seven assists in 30 games this season, has been bothered by a bad ankle and other ailments for much of the season. Mueller joins Joe Lovell, who has been on the list since January 4, on the regular 14-day I.R. Goalie Daniel Boisclair is on the 14-day goalie I.R.

The RiverKings also signed Memphis native Drew Terry to a Standard Players Contract today. The 22 year-old defenseman was with the RiverKings in training camp. These moves came a day after the team recalled Tim Plett from Huntsville of the S.P.H.L. Both Plett and Terry are expected to be in uniform and play when the RiverKings open up the post-all-star game portion of the season tomorrow night at Lubbock. Game time for the RiverKings and Lubbock Cotton Kings is 7:05.
