(Southaven, MS) --- Friends, Romans, RiverKings fans, lend me your ears - er, spatulas! The Mississippi RiverKings are publishing the team's first-ever cookbook, featuring selected recipes and photos of players and fans.

Think your grandma has the best pie recipe? What about your famous chili? How about that special Italian dish or French dessert?

If you've got a favorite recipe, please submit it with a photo of yourself and/or your family and a favorite RiverKings player to RiverKings With A Cause charity club member Kaye Merrill at kayemerrill@comcast.net; by fax to 662.342.1156, or mail recipe attention "RiverKings Community Development" to 4560 Venture Drive, Southaven, MS 38671.

The cookbooks will be sold during the holidays with all proceeds going to benefit local charities through your very own RiverKings With A Cause charity club.

The RiverKings With A Cause club is a fan-run, team-supervised charity club. It gives fans an opportunity to do volunteer work, supports the team's charitable initiatives, and invites the players to participate in community efforts.
