
RiverKings Get Kasteel in Trade with Louisiana

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced that the team has acquired forward Luke Kasteel from the Louisiana IceGators in exchange for forward Benjamin Rubin.
Kasteel, 22, has two points, one goal and one assist, in 15 games this season with Louisiana. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 212-pound native of Vancouver, British Columbia had 19 points (6G, 13A) in 32 games.
Rubin, 26, appeared in all 16 games with the RiverKings this season and had four goals and four assists. Rubin returns to Louisiana after being acquired by the RiverKings via trade in the offseason.
The RiverKings return to Concorde Career College Ice at the Landers Center on Sunday, December 27 at 3:05 p.m. for the team's first Pay What You Can Night. All seats start at a minimum $2 anywhere in the building and can be purchased by calling 662-342-1755.
